Help Rebuild a Hurricane-Ravaged Animal Shelter!

Freekibble CaresFreekibble CaresFreekibble Cares

Ten years ago, Hurricane Katrina left over 600,000 pets without shelter. Hancock County Animal Shelter (HCAS) was forced to shut down due to the devastation… but they didn't give up! They were determined to care for the homeless pets that had nowhere else to go.

After seven years of fundraising and extreme determination, HCAS re-opened its doors in 2012. However, the shelter only raised funds for a limited operation. Today, they're seeking to expand their operations by building additional dog kennels and play areas. With your help, they can triple their size and care for so many more homeless pets. And right now, your donation will be matched by Animal Lifeline dollar for dollar until we reach our $20,000 goal!

$5, $10… every bit will help build new, comfortable kennels. Thank you!

Mimi and Aspen

For as long as I can remember, my main passion in life has been animals. I started and, in 2008 to help feed shelter pets. To-date, we've donated over 12 million meals to homeless dogs and cats across the country. In large part, this has been possible because of the amazing support of the Freekibble Community. All the dedicated people that play the trivia to help feed homeless pets, proves that together we can make a big impact in the world of homeless dogs and cats. Now, to try and help even more animals in need, we're launching a new project called, Freekibble Cares. We'll be choosing new causes to feature each month focused on helping improve the lives of all different types of animals. The ultimate goal of Freekibble Cares is to showcase groups doing important work for animals and to help support them. Please take a look at our featured causes and support them if you can. 100% of your donation goes directly to the cause… it all makes a difference!

Thanks so much,
Mimi Ausland
