Help Bottle-Feed Orphaned Kittens

Freekibble CaresFreekibble CaresFreekibble CaresThe Bottle Baby Nursery Program helps a type of homeless animal that most everyone has a soft spot for…orphaned kittens. The program focuses on unweaned kittens facing euthanasia. Each year, especially during the breeding season (which spans from March to October), shelters are overwhelmed with orphaned kittens. Prior to the Austin Pets Alive! Bottle Baby Nursery Program, nearly all of these kittens faced a bad ending to their short lives, because shelters and local rescue groups in the community couldn't provide the intensive care these special little ones needed to survive. Most of these animals need milk for 4 weeks before they can transition to soft food.

Since its inception in 2009, the Austin Pets Alive! Bottle Baby Nursery program saved more than 5,850 kittens!

You can help this program save even more kittens - just $9 bottle feeds 1 orphaned kitty for 1 week!

Mimi and Aspen

For as long as I can remember, my main passion in life has been animals. I started freekibble.com and freekibblekat.com, in 2008 to help feed shelter pets. To-date, we've donated over 12 million meals to homeless dogs and cats across the country. In large part, this has been possible because of the amazing support of the Freekibble Community. All the dedicated people that play the trivia to help feed homeless pets, proves that together we can make a big impact in the world of homeless dogs and cats. Now, to try and help even more animals in need, we're launching a new project called, Freekibble Cares. We'll be choosing new causes to feature each month focused on helping improve the lives of all different types of animals. The ultimate goal of Freekibble Cares is to showcase groups doing important work for animals and to help support them. Please take a look at our featured causes and support them if you can. 100% of your donation goes directly to the cause… it all makes a difference!

Thanks so much,
Mimi Ausland
