Help Animals (like Ziggy) Regain Their Vision!

Freekibble CaresZiggy (pictured here), came in to The San Diego Humane Society with severe cataracts, and was blind in both eyes… his disease had to be treated before he could be placed up for adoption.

Luckily, there was a surgery that could give Ziggy his sight back! In addition to surgery, he needed antibiotics, pain medication, and x-ray images. Through this treatment, Ziggy was able to see again for the first time in years - and finally found his forever home! There are many more like Ziggy who need this special treatment.

You can help. $5, $10, $25... every bit will help cover the cost of the medication, x-rays and specialty surgery - that'll change an animals life!

Mimi and Aspen

For as long as I can remember, my main passion in life has been animals. I started and, in 2008 to help feed shelter pets. To-date, we've donated over 12 million meals to homeless dogs and cats across the country. In large part, this has been possible because of the amazing support of the Freekibble Community. All the dedicated people that play the trivia to help feed homeless pets, proves that together we can make a big impact in the world of homeless dogs and cats. Now, to try and help even more animals in need, we're launching a new project called, Freekibble Cares. We'll be choosing new causes to feature each month focused on helping improve the lives of all different types of animals. The ultimate goal of Freekibble Cares is to showcase groups doing important work for animals and to help support them. Please take a look at our featured causes and support them if you can. 100% of your donation goes directly to the cause… it all makes a difference!

Thanks so much,
Mimi Ausland
