Help Little Mia Recover From Leg Amputation!Allison Espiritu
When Mia, a small kitten, was found by a shelter volunteer, she had already lived a tough life. Even though she was dealing with ringworm, herpes and a leg injury, her big heart and gentle spirit shined through.
Amputation was necessary, but surgery had to wait until her body was well enough to tolerate it. Finally, at six months old, she was clear of infection, and strong enough for surgery. Mia’s leg was amputated and she’s now on cage rest, where she’ll be treated and cared for as she recovers… and after 4 weeks, Mia can start looking for her forever loving home!
You can help. Just $15.00 helps cover treatment Mia needs for her full recovery – 100% of your donations will go directly to her care!
For as long as I can remember, my main passion in life has been animals. I started Freekibble.com in 2008 to help feed shelter pets. To date, we've donated over 21 million meals to homeless dogs and cats across the country. In large part, this has been possible because of the amazing support of the Freekibble community.
Freekibble Cares features causes each month focused on improving the lives of all different types of animals, showcasing groups doing important work for animals and asking that people support them. 100% of your donations go directly to that cause … it all makes a difference!
