Just like any other domesticated animal, llamas sometimes find themselves in the unfortunate situation of having owners that are unable to care for them. Perhaps they are unwanted, abused, or exhibit unmanageable behavior. That’s when Southeast Llama Rescue (SELR) steps in.

This non-profit organization helps llamas find living situations that suit them. They also work with local law enforcement to bring abusers to justice.
